About Me:

My name is Cameron Howell, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Digital Media. I specialize in Design and Programming with the goal of becoming a professional Technical Designer.

On the teams I have worked on, I have performed a range of rolls from designer, core programmer, director, producer, and technical designer. I specialize in building game’s core system mechanics but I am able and willing to work where I am needed the most.

When designing, I aim to create systems that are not only polished and well rounded but that are scalable to keep with the current scope of the project. I understand the damage that an over designed game can have on a project as a whole so when designing, my goal is to keep a balance of fun, originality, and scope in mind.

When programming, I build my scripts in the most easy to use way I know possible. I understand that even if code works, if the designers can’t figure out how to use it, that slows the entire team down. I keep open and frequent communication at the forefront of my work in all fields.
